Job Description:
A company is looking for an Underwriter Assistant responsible
for the binding process of insurance policies.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in binding insurance policies, ensuring compliance with
underwriting guidelines and regulatory standards
Coordinate between underwriters and brokers by responding to
inquiries and providing revised quotes
Process and issue policy endorsements and maintain organized
records of all binding transactions
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Minimum of 1 year of work experience in the insurance industry or
binding underwriting
Bachelor's degree required; preferred fields include Business
Administration or Business Operations
Minimum requirements for state P&C and/or surplus line
licenses
Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) preferred
