• Understand from the Product Manager the product vision, prioritized initiatives required to deliver the vision.
• Work with the Product Manager to refine the prioritization and definition.
• Hold customer discovery meetings if appropriate.
• Define & prioritize the feature roadmap and translate into well-defined projects with acceptance criteria.
• Manage the Engineering Team to deliver high quality software product against project plans.
• Collaborate with UI/UX on the design.
• Gather customer feedback based on proposed high-level solutions and design prototypes.
• Collaborate with QA on the testing and sign off the test plan.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve questions as they arise, and update requirements accordingly.
• Ensure that release notes and training materials as appropriate are provided and coordinate with Marketing the promotion of new functionality.
• Updating the development plan to incorporate bugfix, security issue resolution, and tech debt as required.
• Work with technical support as a third line support as required, assisting technical support to be self-sufficient.
• Define & monitor the product KPIs to assess product effectiveness.
• Monitor individual employees' performance.
• Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members to their optimum performance levels and career development.
• Lead and nurture the professional culture of the team, striving to improve development process efficiency.
• Ensure the Engineering Team develop software in accordance with the technical leadership and technology selection of the Director, Software Engineering.
• Hybrid role with teleworking permitted 2 days a week within a reasonable commuting distance of the Atlanta, GA office.SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, Monday through FridayLOCATION: Mueller Systems, LLC, 1200 Abernathy Road NE, Suite 1200, Atlanta, GA 30328REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or closely related field of study and five (5) years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Systems Engineer, Database Administrator or related role where required experience gained.SPECIAL SKILLS: Also requires experience in the following:

• Agile software development methodologies;
• Defining product requirements to an engineering team;
• Data- and customer-driven product development methodologies;
• Rest API design/modelling;
• Database Design & Modeling;
