Innovate to solve the world's most important challengesAs a Sr. Strategic Sourcing Specialist here at
Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing the sourcing process for
various categories of goods and services. You will work closely with cross-functional
teams to identify sourcing needs, develop sourcing strategies, and negotiate
contracts with suppliers. Your role will have a direct impact on cost savings,
supplier performance, and overall supply chain efficiency. You will report directly to our Sourcing Manager and you'll work out of our
Bangalore location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: ------- Conducting market research and
supplier evaluations to identify potential suppliers ------- Developing and implementing sourcing
strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery ------- Negotiating contracts and terms with
suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and terms ------- Managing supplier relationships and
performance to drive continuous improvement ------- Collaborating with internal
stakeholders to understand sourcing needs and requirements ------- Monitoring market trends and industry

• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or
  procurement
• 1+ years demonstrated experience
  influencing others without direct authority.
• 1+ years demonstrated high impact results
  in process improvement, including across functions.We value:--

  • Bachelor's degree in science, Business, Finance, Supply Chain or related discipline
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of sourcing best practices and market trends

  • Contract Management Experience
  • Experience in the manufacturing or technology industry
  • Certification in supply chain management or procurement.
  • Demonstrated cost reduction experience in multiple spend segments.
  • Experience
    leveraging analytics for measurable business improvement.
  • Project Management Experience
  • Demonstrated Business and financial acumen.
  • Experience with Six Sigma and Lean Tools
  • Expertise
    in core procurement systems including SAP & Compass
  • High
    motivation with boundless energy to get stuff done.
  • Desire to
    innovate, disrupt and challenge the status quo.
